Fortini Trail Bike Ride

Our first major bike ride last summer saw Abhay, Kris, Rich, and I attempting to pedal the dirt of the Fortini Trail into Santa Teresa Park. Unfortunately, we were all a bit out of cycling shape. Worse, the hard packed, and extremely bumpy, dirt trail was a real bear. Rich was having a really tough go of it. I felt fine physically; but my hybrid bike was bouncing all over the place. We did manage to make it into the park and back, but it was surprisingly difficult.

Abhay takes the King of the Mountains for leading up many of the hills. There were no sprints in this stage. I'm giving myself the stage win because, as I recall, I led almost the whole way (except for some of the climbs) and got home first.
