Second A's Game

Yesterday, I attended my second A's game in three days. I received free tickets for excellent seats once again, this time courtesy of Geoff's family's season seats. Along with Geoff and Rich, my brother and I enjoyed the view from the second row (just behind the 1st base dugout). As noted on the rLog, Geoff does indeed have his ballgame expenses impressively measured.

As for the game, it was much better than the last one. Both Rich Harden and John Lackey pitched well; but where Harden pitched eight full innings, Lackey left the game in the sixth after a pair of walks and 113 pitches. With the A's down three to two in the seventh, Eric Chavez hit a two run home run. An insurance run and a strange strikeout-interference call double play later, the A's won 5-3.
