The Perfect Companion to a Train Ride
You're now listening to a piece of music that I heavily associate with extended rail travel. The consistent rhythm of Continental's Pacific Sprawl provided the acoustic backdrop to many of my long distance train rides through Europe. Of course the best audible experience on the rails would be to hear the sounds of the trains themselves. But since most of the high speed trains ride on air suspensions, these days you don't hear much of anything at all. I enjoyed imagining that the baseline of this song was the clickety-clack of the railroad.
